Meet the Teacher Night: September 3, 2026 - 6-8pm
We’re excited to welcome our PCS families back to PCS before the school year officially begins!
Join us on Thursday, September 8th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM for our annual "Meet the Teacher Night" — a great opportunity to reconnect, get oriented, and build excitement for the year ahead.
This evening helps students feel confident and ready for their first day of school on Tuesday, September 8th.
It’s also a chance for families to meet our teaching and support staff, visit classrooms, and learn important back-to-school details such as drop-off and pick-up routines, daily schedules, and more!
We’ll also take time to pray together as a community, and if the evening wraps up early, feel free to stick around and socialize with other PCS families.
Parking will be available at the front of the school and on Stone’s Field — please follow the guidance of our parking attendants to help keep things running smoothly.
We hope to see you there!
The school office will be closed for Labour Day.
School resumes on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.
Our first assembly of the year will take place on Friday, September 11, at 2:10 p.m.
Please call or email the School Office by Thursday to let us know if you are picking up your child from Assembly so their teachers are informed and belongings are sent are with them to Assembly.

Regional off-site training for Cross Coutnry will take place on Wednesdays Sept 23, 30, Oct 7, 14 after school at 4:00 pm - 4:45.
Location is at Heber Downs, South entrance Lyndebrook and Country Lane- See map on back.
Students must be driven by and have a parent/guardian present at all times during OFF SITE training sessions.

We're excited to invite you to Community Day on Saturday, September 26, as we kick off the celebration of Pickering Christian School's 40th Anniversary!
We look forward to welcoming our PCS families, alumni, friends, and the wider community for a fun-filled day with activities and something for the whole family.
Mark your calendars. You won't want to miss this special celebration!
We are also looking for volunteers!
Whether you can help with set-up, activities, food, games, or keeping things running smoothly, we’d love to have you join our Community Day team!
High school students can earn valuable volunteer hours on Community Day. Students interested in volunteering must contact us in advance to register and confirm their volunteer placement.

The Grades 7 & * will be participating in a soccer Tournament at Rhema Christian School in Peterborough.
The bus will be leaving at 7:15am and returning to school between 4:00pm-4:15pm.
Students must wear black shorts and their PCS red gym shirt with appropriate footwear.
