In Christ You Are

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” 2 Corinthians 5:17

Our school-wide theme this year is In Christ You Are. Throughout the year, students will be encouraged to discover more about their identity in Jesus and to understand who God says they are.

Each month, we will focus on a different truth from Scripture that helps students grow in their faith and learn what it means to live as followers of Christ.

September: In Christ You Are Loved
Nothing can separate us from God’s love.

October: In Christ You Are Chosen
God has called us to belong to Him.

November: In Christ You Are Sent
We are called to share the good news of Jesus with others.

December: In Christ You Are Hopeful
Jesus is our hope and our peace.

January: In Christ You Are Forgiven
Jesus gives us grace and a fresh start.

February: In Christ You Are a Worshipper
We worship God with our whole lives.

March: In Christ You Are Courageous
We can be courageous because God is with us wherever we go.

April: In Christ You Are Made New
Because of Jesus, we have new life.

May: In Christ You Are Called to Serve
God gives us gifts that we can use to serve and care for others.

June: In Christ You Shine
We reflect Jesus through our words, our actions, and the way we live.

Through our monthly Worship Assemblies, classroom learning, worship, service, and everyday moments in our school community, PCS students will have opportunities to explore these truths and put them into practice.

Our hope is that every student will grow in confidence knowing that in Christ they are loved, chosen, forgiven, made new, called, and His.
