House Groups

One of the unique ways we build community at Pickering Christian School is through our House Group Program. Every student is placed into one of eight Houses, where they become part of a school family that includes students from JK through Grade 8. This creates meaningful opportunities for students of all ages to encourage one another, build friendships, and develop leadership skills.

Throughout the school year, Houses participate in a variety of activities, service opportunities, school events, and friendly competitions that promote teamwork, school spirit, and Christ-like character. Students remain in the same House each year, allowing them to develop lasting relationships and a strong sense of belonging. Siblings are also placed in the same House whenever possible, helping to strengthen family connections within our school community.

Our House Groups:

Steadfast Sea Turtles
Peaceful Pandas
Loving Lions
Humble Hawks
Joyful Jaguars
Wise Wolves
Devoted Dolphins
Faithful Falcons

Our House Program reflects our commitment to developing the whole child by fostering community, character, leadership, service, and faith. It is one of the many ways we help students become Known. Valued. Encouraged. Equipped. while growing together in a caring, Christ-centred environment.
