JK & SK walk at 10:30am .. Grades 1 to 8 walk at 12:15pm

JK: 1 km
SK: 2 km
Grades 1 & 2: 5 km
Grades 3 & 4: 7 km
Grades 5 & 6: 8 km
Grades 7 & 8: 10 km
ROUTE: We will be walking through subdivisions near the school. Children are asked to respect people's property and to STAY ON THE SIDEWALK.
SAFETY: All children will be walking in groups with at least one adult per group. Some parents will be driving the routes slowly to allow children having difficulty completing the route to return to the school. Water stations will be set up at frequent intervals where cold water will be offered to the children.
DRESS: Each class is discussing a common theme or outfit for the day. Watch for a note coming home with each child for details. This will be a non-uniform day. Also, hats need to be worn and sunscreen applied. Rain date will be posted if necessary.
Walk-A-Thon volunteres are needed for various functions - safety drivers, water stations, class walkers, start/finish line etc.
