Teachers The teachers’ role is to bring the Spirit of Christ into the classroom. The students need to see, by their teachers’ example, a Christ-centered life. The parents’ role is to work together with the teachers. Training in the home ought to be reflected in the classroom; and teaching in the classroom ought to be reinforced in the home. Together parents and teachers form a team laying a spiritual foundation for the student. God’s Word teaches there are four aspects to a child’s life: Physical, mental, social and spiritual. A student’s education must impact each aspect. PCS seeks to educate the whole child: Physically – teaching the student to respect their bodies as God’s creation. Mentally – teaching the skills and concepts necessary… Socially – developing within the student a Christ-like attitude… Spiritually – encouraging the student (with guidance from the Spirit of God) to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, guiding them in their spiritual growth.
