Since 1985, Pickering Christian School has been a registered elementary school with the Ministry of Education of Ontario. Each teacher is carefully selected for their professional and spiritual qualifications.  All full time teachers hold provincial or international certification.  Over 5 different denominations are represented by the staff.  They are all committed to the Word of God and the need for Jesus Christ to be a vital part of the students' every day life.

Pickering Christian School operates as a non-profit charitable organization registered with the provincial and federal government.

The Board of Directors are a group of PCS parents who have been selected for their dedication and expertise in operating an organization that maintains the integrity and direction of the core values of PCS.  The Board operates under The Policy Governance Model®.   This model allows the Board to empower the Principal and staff to do the business of education while monitoring the direction and accomplishments of the school.
